I believe that you are correct is saying that the bidet seats are much more common in Japan. I have never heard of anyone being burned by one of these seats. I do think it is important when purchasing these products that you look to manufacturers that comply with industry codes and standards.

It's really fascinating that bidets have evolved as high-tech gadgets, having the ability to keep toilet seats warm, deodorize bad odor, and some even have the ability to measure blood pressure, blood sugar levels.I did get a bidet, but it's the bidet-spray type and it's the very basic model that has only one know. I think in Japan, the high-tech bidets are standard there. I've heard though that one major flaw with the high tech bidets is that there were cases that the toilet seat warmer function causes burns, and there was also a case that resulted the seat to burn.

"Better" can depend on many factors. When you say quartz vs. granite I am not sure if you are refering to both as composite type sinks or to a sink made from solid granite (yes, these do exist). Composites may be called quartz or granite but both are made of a stone/resin composite. A sink actually made from granite would, I expect, require a lot of care to stay looking good.

The only way I can think to do that would be to use a diverter on the shower arm to operate the handshower. The ibox offers either a simple pressure balance, a thermostatic with one volume control or a thermostatic with volume control and diverter for two options. There is not a bypass to allow for the use of a diverter spout with twin ell.

There are a couple of things here. The Hansgrohe ibox can only be used with Hansgrohe trim (for the valve), but you can use any shower bar. If you like the functionality of the ibox you could use a Symmons shower bar with that. Hansgrohe does also make the Raindance S and Raindance E wall bars which both offer a sliding action that does not require you to push a button or squeeze. Rohl also makes a very nice squeeze style shower bar, the Ocean4.

we are torn between installing hansgrohe hand shower pole units - one with tub and one with shower only or considering the Symmons line ..

is the Ibox only good for the hansgrohe products???

one issue we have with the hansgrohe product verus the symmons product is the slide up and down motion is by a push in button on the symmons and with hand problems the push buttom slide is easier

can you offer any insight and information that will aid us in our decision

My questions is. Would I be able to install a shower head, a hand shower and a tub spout using they Ibox with a trim with options 1 and 2, tub spout with a diverter using a twin ell. As I don't want to have an extra knob which will be the case if I was to use a separate diverter.

Thank you

We do carry the Toto Washlet in stock. We do not offer installation services but it is an easy item to install. You will probably want to have an outlet installed near the toilet.

Yes, there are vanities that can be bought at a bargain price but what are you buying? It's not how good it looks new, it's how good it looks after a few years in the wet environment of a bathroom. You also want to consider how it works. One way "bargain" products keep prices down is to use hardware that can limit how doors and drawers work which can be very annoying when you are using something every day. You don't have to spend a fortune, but a bargain isn't much of a bargain if it falls apart.
