Cabinet Hardware

We are pleased to announce two additions to our hardware offerings: Colonial Bronze and Atlas Homewares.

Colonial Bronze was started in 1927 in the Bronx by Swiss immigrant brothers, Maximillian Ruefli and Joseph Ruefli. In 1930 they moved their factory to Torrington, Connecticut which was sometimes called the “Brass Valley” as most of the country’s brass manufacturing was based there. Today Colonial Bronze continues to produce their hardware in Torrington making them one of the few producers of custom hardware to manufacturer here in the United States.

Colonial Bronze is truly a design oriented product. Hardware is solid brass, forged and crafted by hand and offered in over 40 finishes, all with a lifetime guarantee against tarnishing. CB also has an in-house team for the design and fabrication of custom products for true “one-of-a-kind” projects. They will also modify existing products to fit your particular need.

Working on Green Building? Colonial Bronze is SCS certificated and so can contribute to LEED certification on projects. Colonial Bronze is also now offering Saniguard antimicrobial protection as an option on all their products.

Colonial Bronze offers cabinet hardware, hinges, switch plates, door-appliance-and-shower-door pulls, bath accessories and architectural hardware.

Atlas Homewares offers cabinet hardware in a wide array of styles and materials including brass, glass, zinc alloy, leather and more. Atlas also offers switch plates, house numbers, front door accessories and bath hardware. If you are looking for sometime unique Atlas has what you’re looking for!
